The
standard email address format looks like [username]@localdial.com, where
username is the user's login name.
The
multiple email address system functions in the same way.
The
format for using multiple email addresses is slightly different from that
of a single address. Instead of [username]@localdial.com,
The
addresses will look like:
- [name1].[username]@localdial.com
- [name2].[username]@localdial.com
- [name3].[username]@localdial.com
- [namex].[username]@localdial.com
There
is no need to contact Localdial.Com to set-up each individual email address,
simply choose the names you wish to use and change the Reply to: field
in your mail settings as appropriate.
There
are many instances where you would wish to have more than one email address.
Individual members of a family may wish to have their own address, perhaps
using the family surname as the username (if available).
An
example of this would be:
- john.smith@localdial.com
- mary.smith@localdial.com
- anthony.smith@localdial.com
- pauline.smith@localdial.com
When
the Smith family comes to access its email, each family member's email
can be distinguished via the address to which the mail has been sent.
If
you do not wish to use multiple email addresses simply use the standard
format of [username]@localdial.com
