1. From the Apple menu in the top left hand corner, select Internet Access / Internet Set Up Assistant
2. Click "Yes" to set up your computer.
3. Click "Yes" to the question "Do you already have an Internet Connection?"
4. Select the next page (the right arrow in the bottom right hand corner)
5. Give the connection a name i.e. Localdial.Com
6. Make sure the connection method is a modem.
7. Select the next page.
8. Select the modem type. If your modem is not listed you will need to abort the installation and load the driver from the disk supplied with your modem.
9. Select the port the modem is connected to.
10. Leave the "Tone" option selected and the "Ignore dial tone" option clear.
11. Select the next page.
12. Enter the phone number as 873873.
13. Enter your login name in the second box.
14. Enter your password we gave you into the final box.
15. Select the next page.
16. Leave the answer to the question as "No".
17. Select the next page.
18. Again, leave the answer to the next question as "No".
19. Select the next page.
20. In the next box input the following numbers (remember to enter the full stop between the numbers, but there isn't one at the end.) The numbers are 195.226.131.251 and 195.226.128.3
21. In the other box enter: Localdial.Com
22. Select the next page.
23. Enter your email address in the first box and your password into the second box (it will be the same one as you used previously).
24. The quoting character is just for quoting text in email so keep the default.
25. Select the next page.
26. The email account would be as follows: yourlogin@localdial.com
27. The SMTP server is mail.localdial.com
28. Select the next page.
29. The News server is news.localdial.com
30. Select the next page.
31. Leave the default option and select the next page.
32. If you are ready to connect click "Go Ahead" if you want to wait then deselect to connect now option before clicking on "Go Ahead".
